“Let me notify the production team to change the plot right now.” It only took the director a few seconds to decide and gave the order via the walkie-talkie straight away.

Xia Changyue watched the director instruct the script supervisor to rearrange the set. She then looked at Yan Chengchi, feeling a little surprised.

She remembered he was not a nit-picker and definitely will not give any opinions in areas that he wasn’t an expert in at all. He was a proud and aloof person.

However, he suddenly requested the director to change the script now. Furthermore, it was over a small issue regarding how the female lead was bullied.

However, she actually felt thrilled secretly to know that Jiang Mingna would be splashed with beer later. It was because she had just splashed a bottle of water at her.

Oh well, she was a vindictive and vengeful person.

The only issue was that Jiang Mingna was such a proud person. Would she obey the director’s instructions about the last-minute change in the script?

Xiang Changyue was so excited when she heard the director shouted, “Action!”. She tried to squeeze to the front to get a better view.

The set in the studio was a very loud pub.

The dejected expression on Jiang Mingna’s face when she walked in slowly really made one believe that the show was real.

The plot moved on very quickly. It only took a while before the actress beside Jiang Mingna lifted a mug of beer and splashed it toward her face.

“Ah…”

Jiang Mingna jumped up from her chair suddenly and began shaking her skirt.

“What’s going on there? Didn’t I tell you to splash across the face? Why did you splash it over the skirt?” The director looked at the playback on the monitor and frowned unhappily.

“I’m sorry, director. I’m sorry, Miss Mingna. I missed my aim earlier and didn’t splash on the target. Can we please do it again?” The actress acting along with Jiang Mingna said apologetically.

“You…”

Jiang Mingna was about to act up when she saw Yan Chengchi sitting at the side. She forced herself to remain calm.

She was going to put on a good show to attract Yan Chengchi’s full attention!

She had to remain calm no matter what happened!

Jiang Mingna forced herself to smile, which looked very awkward and said, “It’s alright. We are all professional actors, I would not take this to heart.”

“Alright, let’s get the skirt blown dry and redo the scene again.” The director gave new instructions via the walkie-talkie again.

They began to start shooting again after a busy flurry on set.

“Whoosh…”

The actress who was performing along Jiang Mingna shook her hand, and the beer went pouring down on the top of Jiang Mingna’s head.

The bright yellow liquid went flowing down her hair then onto her face and clothes, ruining her makeup.

Her mascara was smudged, and she looked like a ghost.

“Cut!”

The director stood up from his chair, took up the megaphone, and shouted, “I said splash onto the face from the front, and just half of the face will do. Instead of looking pitiful, she looks like a ghost! How is the male lead going to feel anything for her?”

“I’m sorry, director. I didn’t get a good angle. I hope to try it again.” The actress apologized sincerely. However, her facial expression didn’t look sincere at all.

Jiang Mingna was fuming, yet she clenched her teeth and made herself say, “It’s okay. This is an important scene; it is good to have a few more takes, but I hope you open your eyes wide the next time and see where you are splashing.”

“What is going on, really? You can’t even splash the beer properly? Again!” The director ordered. Jiang Mingna couldn’t smile anymore.

She was drenched from head to toe as if someone had just fished her out of a beer barrel.
