Chapter 43: A Plot Twist, Since When Was I Disinvesting?!

The group of people on set stiffened.

Bai Yujie looked extremely confident which made Mr. Yang even more confused.

He looked at An Mu and at the furious Director Huang again, feeling flustered and befuddled.

Director Huang had a straightforward character and because of his persistence on filming, he was not good at dealing with people, and Mr. Yang was afraid that Director Huang would get into a dispute with the investors because of Qiong Hua.

After all… It would not be the first time that it happened!

Mr. Yang looked over at the actress who played Qiong Hua.

She remained silent, standing there and looking as if everything that happened on set had nothing to do with her.

Such a calm person.

Everyone stared at the entrance area.

Within seconds, a tall figure appeared.

Once Feng Ziqian appeared, all at once, Bai Yujie was like a little bird who flew into his arms. “Brother Ziqian!”

An Mu touched her face that was still blazing hot.

Tsk tsk, people who were not there might have thought that she was the victim of being slapped.

Feng Ziqian reached out his arm and wrapped it around Bai Yujie’s waist. Bai Yujie complained, “Brother Ziqian, they changed my character, but you chose it for me. If they dare to do that, don’t you think they despise you?”

An Mu felt like she could raise her thumb if she was at an appropriate occasion.

Bai Yujie was indeed a skillful speaker. In fact, this situation was her own problem but she had to intensify it by creating friction between the investor and director.

Bai Yujie raised her head in arrogance. “That’s right, how could decisions that were made earlier be altered at the last minute. Director Huang, you didn’t keep your promise. If you don’t explain yourself today, my Brother Ziqian will disinvest in this project! ”

Director Huang seemed upset but tried to suppress his dismay by explaining to Feng Ziqian. “I think she’s more suitable for this character.”

Feng Ziqian who was too starstruck replied with approval.

Director Huang frowned. “Since Mr. Feng said so, then just disinvest, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to continue filming this TV series!”

His words composed an air of threat and resentment.

Mr. Yang was so anxious that his forehead was perspiring.

Bai Yujie sneered, “Disinvest then. If Brother Ziqian transfers this amount of investment to another TV series, I could be the leading actress!”

After speaking, she grabbed Feng Ziqian’s arms, and exclaimed, “Brother Ziqian, let’s leave!”

“Leave?” Feng Ziqian regained his senses, and said, “Where to?”

Bai Yujie was all puffed up. “We need a lawyer to talk about the disinvestment, so Director Huang can return the money!”
