Chapter 31: Two Options

In the base, Garen and the others climbed up and down the mountain of materials, scouring for the mission materials they needed. From time to time, they would ask Vivian if the materials they found were the ones on the list.

In the end, with Vivian’s help, everyone chose their materials and all got what they needed.

“Eight. I’ve already completed eight. I can cultivate when I go back!”

Colin and the others huddled together in celebration.

Only Garen looked at the list in his hand and muttered to himself with a flushed face, “Impossible… Impossible…. Why have I only completed seven missions?”

Everyone nodded and agreed in unison before turning to look at the mountain of materials that was higher than the second floor. They couldn’t help but look troubled.

“Big brother, there are so many materials. Even the door is blocked. How are we going to get out?”

“That’s right, Big Brother! Quickly put away these materials!” Everyone said helplessly.

Adams raised his hand and flashed the quantum ring on his hand. A beam of light shot out, but only put away half of the materials there. The remaining half of the materials still blocked the gate of the base.

“Big Brother, there’s still half of it left. We still can’t get out!” Everyone said in confusion.

Sitting at the conference table, Adams waved his hand at everyone with a smile and said, “You can split the rest evenly! A huge mountain of treasure was right in front of them, yet they could only look at it and not take it away. Anyone would go crazy at that.

Adams sighed. Then, he waved his hand and a large pile of rings appeared at their feet. These were the ordinary quantum rings that he had looted from the Wanderers.

Garen and the others gaped when they saw the quantum rings scattered all over the ground.

Garen and the others could understand no matter how many materials Adams collected. After all, lucky people were the envy of others.

However, quantum rings had to be forged by human craftsmen. Every ordinary person could only receive one ring after their coming-of-age ceremony!

The hundreds of rings on the ground were equivalent to taking them from hundreds of humans. The difficulty of collecting all these was as difficult as climbing up to the sky!

Scratching his head in embarrassment, Adams gestured for Vivian to head out and said, “Let’s talk as we walk!”

Vivian nodded lightly and walked out of the base with Adams. Garen and the others tactfully waited for a while before leaving the base and followed them from afar.
