Lol from what I see, this Gu Shen definitely love his uncle Jun since Jun Shiyan is the one who raised him up single-handedly… The question here… In the original plot of the novel Ling Sheng got in, it’s obvious that Xin bitch is one of the reasons Jun Shiyan died.. and I think that bitch used Gu Shen to kill him in the past plot.. so the problem here laid on that Xin bitch, I hope she died a worst death for creating a conflict between this uncle-nephew pair

I really hate Huo Ci . It’s so sad how he treats them and expect them to be okay with it .
While this novel is good, you have to be a masochist to read it. This is mainly because of the father. He is a tsundere so is always angry but pretending to be sweet.
Novel also goes into the darker aspects of the entertainment industry. Not just how people sell sexual favors for roles but abusing the system to ruin lives, getting actresses drunk during forced gatherings, toxic fans.
For the best part, the ML and FL. Both are honest and straightforward. While they keep certain things secret due to circumstances, neither try to hide their feelings for the other like in other novels. ML is also shameless but not in the usual ways (he used a megaphone outside of the place the FL was staying to wake her up when she was drunk and get her to come back with him).

Too many plot holes.
They didn’t care about child development, they keep fighting and hurting each other in front to the child.
When they have a problem or the father is acting up , they keep skipping it then they suddenly okey .
The father is shit.
You can see all the skipping , irresponsible adult, selfish character, overstept their effin problem.
And i want to say i feel sorry to myself why i read this first. If it not because i already gone so far .. i will really not coming back but because i want know and see to them have a character development that’s I’m still here
I dropped this because I can already saw it where it will go to. I stopped at the part where our MC meets Nangong Lengyu (Which we all know is her Mother with the way the author not-so-subtly clue us readers). then we will know that somehow our author will asspull something that Jun Shiyan is the one who impregnated our MC with God knows what author plot magic. with all I said its stilll fine, In fact I love how the story goes but, that motherf*cking father of the MC is the biggest turn-off for this novel in my opinion. If there’s one thing I hate in my novels is the Braindead CEO, Film King, etc. archetype of character that likes to get all things around him as what he wants it to be, no questions asked. If this is a sequel of one of those kind of novels, My God i pity the child of them just like how Ling Sheng is here. But we all know at the end of this story somehow or someway Nangong Lengyu still loves that braindead Huo Ci and for the sake of Ling Sheng they’ll get back together to be a happy family.
Sorry for my long rant. Peace out I’m dropping this shit.
